Michelangelo PERGOLESI (active in London in the second half of the XVIII century) "Project of a ceiling with mythological scene in a rose window" Original etching by drawings by Pergolesi himself, published in the magnificent collection entitled "Ornaments" of which the Italian artist was also a publisher from 1777 to 1801. Nice copy dated in plate 1782, in the rare original edition, printed on laid paper bearing a literal countermark, with large margins beyond the imprint of the plate, with small foxing points and other minimal defects at the edges but overall in excellent general condition. Bibliography: Benezit "Dictionnaire des Peintres ..."
